Equator Coffees at Proof Lab, our very first cafe, celebrates 10 years in Mill Valley. We're commemorating this milestone with a new line of merchandise that is an ode to Marin, a celebratory bike ride through Marin, and a limited time "Celebration Cake" Latte.

Equator Coffees at Proof Lab continues to serve as a thriving community hub—a popular stop for cyclists, surfers, runners, families, and professionals. The sun-filled patio space in the front and rear of the iconic surf shack-inspired red building, expertly crafted drinks, and rotating gallery of artwork make the cafe that started it all a much beloved Marin gathering space. Over the past ten years the cafe has met the community where they are, including through the pandemic: balancing care and caution for the Equator team and community, with flexibility in finding ways to serve kindness, coffee, and pastries safely.

To commemorate this milestone, we partnered with artist Fisher Monahan to illustrate all four Marin Equator locations including Larkspur, Sausalito, Mill Valley, and of course Proof Lab front and center in its iconic red. This design is available on a 12oz mug ($20), an enamel pin ($7), and a sticker (free, while supplies last) only at Marin Equator locations.
A limited time "Celebration Cake" Latte with rainbow sprinkles will also be available at Proof Lab only from Thursday June 22nd through Sunday, June 25th, in honor of the location’s anniversary weekend.
In celebration of this anniversary and Pride Month, we're also excited to host the Tour d’Equator: Pride Ride in partnership with Marin-founded Mike’s Bikes on Sunday, June 25. The no-cost ride routes from Proof Lab to the top of Mount Tamalpais, and back down to our Sausalito location where riders will celebrate with free paninis and drinks. Participants are also invited to join us in donating to support the critical work of The LGBT Asylum Project. Funds will be combined with those raised by our monthly Cup for a Cause ($1 per pour over sold in cafes) and a limited edition Pride Tiger Pin (available online and in cafes).
Equator Coffees at Proof Lab is located at 244 CA-1, Mill Valley, CA 94941. Situated in the Tamalpais Valley Junction area, the cafe is a staple at Proof Lab Station alongside legendary Proof Lab Surf Shop and local favorite restaurant Hook Fish Co. at Proof Lab Beer Garden.
